Former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin is the latest to join the long list of personalities whose biopic are currently under production. And although Ekta Kapoor is yet to go on record about the project, we have learnt that work on the much-talked-about film is already underway.
Apparently, Ekta has brought on board her favourite writer, Rajat Aror, who wrote The Dirty Picture and the Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai series, to start working on the script.
It is believed that the producer had signed a contract with Azharuddin last month for a handsome amount to acquire the official rights for making a biopic on him. Reportedly Ekta has three actors on her wish list — Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh -- to play the role of controversial cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin.
The film is expected to go on the floors later this year.
